Berkeley Ballroom is a student–run group that has been providing classes, practices, and ballroom events for ballroom dancers of all sorts, from beginning social dancers to top DanceSport competitors for over 50 years. No partner or experience is required!

We offer:

• Social classes, taught weekly in Hearst Gym. Classes are open to anyone, and you can drop in any time. Our social lesson prices are the lowest anywhere!
• A competitive ballroom team that represents UC Berkeley at local competitions and beyond.
• DanceSport Training Program for newcomer through intermediate dancers who want more technique-focused or competition-oriented ballroom instruction.
• Annual competitions and dance camps, including Berkeley Ballroom Classic in February, Berkeley Beginners' Competition in October and Berkeley Dance Camp in November.
